This is peak into a collection of various printed works I did during my employment at Základná škola Narnia. I created designs for everything from various promotional materials to t-shirt designs to build signage. Probably the strongest piece in this custom illustration and poster design for the annual winter activities. I chose to integrate the school’s logo into an illustration depicting Lucy’s (and the readers) first sight of the lamp post from C.S. Lewis’ book The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. These posters were used as promotional materials to attract new students for the next enrollment session. My idea was to try and bring the viewer into the theme and atmosphere that Základná škola Narnia creates in the school, much like C.S. Lewis draws the reader into his enchanting stories.
Another enjoyable piece is a poster used for a spring time celebration that happened in May (Názo). The original file was handed off to someone else for content but this earlier version still shows the final design.
